What we believe…
- We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be inerrant,
verbally inspired of God, and they are the supreme and final authority in
faith and life.
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in the three Persons: Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Genesis account of the Bible is to be accepted by
faith as literal—not allegorical or figurative—that man was created directly
in God’s image and was not a matter of evolution.
- We believe that Jesus was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of Mary, a
virgin, and is fully God and fully man.
- We believe that man has sinned, which has caused not only physical death,
but spiritual death, which is separation from God.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the
Scriptures, and that all who believe on Him are justified on the grounds of
His shed blood. Man is saved by faith in Christ alone.
- We believe in the eternal security of the believer, and that we are kept
by the power of God until the day of redemption.
- We believe in the literal bodily resurrection of our Lord, in His
ascension into Heaven, and in His present ministry as our High Priest and
Advocate.
- We believe that the church is a visible, local, self-governing body of
believers who have been baptized, and that the church is responsible for the
carrying out of the Great Commission.
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the
everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the
lost.
